Booking conditions Apartments & Villas Booking your accommodations 1. Go to http://www.viasiciliana.it. You will receive instant confirmation of availability of the holiday accommodation of your choice. 2. Our receipt of your 30% deposit will confirm your acceptance of the booking. 3. You will receive a confirmation of receipt of your deposit by e-mail. Conditions of payment The deposit paid at the time of booking must be done by bank transfer to Via Siciliana’s bank account: IBAN: Swift code: Rental contract You will be asked to sign a simple rental contract in Italian. The owner of the rental unit will have previously signed the contract and a member of the Via Siciliana staff will present it to you. This contract is subject to Italian law. To facilitate your understanding of the contract, an English language version will be sent to you by e-mail before your arrival. Payment of the remaining rental cost and security deposit Upon your arrival at your accommodations, your cash payment for the remaining rental cost is expected. A member of Via Siciliana’s staff will be on hand to collect the payment. In addition, your cash payment for the security deposit will also be collected at that time. You will receive your keys to your accommodations upon receipt of the security deposit and remaining rental cost. The security deposit will be refunded upon departure. In the event it is necessary to deduct for extra charges or damages, it will be refunded shortly afterward. A receipt will be delivered to you. Arrival and departure, curtailing and extending your stay A member of the Via Siciliana staff will welcome you at your accommodations, unless a predetermined meeting has been arranged for another location. Arrival hours are between 16.00 (4:00 PM) and 22.00 (10:00 PM) on the initial day of your booking. You are kindly asked to vacate the premises by 10.00 (10:00 AM) on your day of departure. Please telephone Via Siciliana if you will be delayed. If you are unable to occupy your accommodations on the day and time reserved due to delays, illness, personal or other reasons, unfortunately, we will be unable to make any refund. Similarly, if you curtail your holiday, we will be unable to refund for unused days. Should you like to extend your stay, please contact Via Siciliana and we will tell you immediately if this will be possible. |
